Although the Online Clinic specializes in behavior disorders, it is a full service child and adolescent clinic, providing a range of evaluation and treatment services. Parents and children can also receive individual and group therapy or child-parent training for a broad range of problems. Users of the Online Clinic can request a psychological evaluation and written report.

Child Therapy Program
The Online Clinic program has a set of features that make it a little different than that of other therapies for children. Our program includes:
■ Child and Family Stress
An emphasis is placed working with family stressors in developing a treatment program for the child. By emphasizing family stress management, therapy works to free up parent and family resources so that the family can reach the objective more quickly and with more confidence.
Everyone in the family benefits from an improved home environment, especially the child who may have been the focus of therapy. Far more therapy time is spent working with the parents or family toward developing a team for change than is spent working alone with the child individually as the identified "patient." Families hold powerful resources that can be focused for positive change in a child.
■ Goal of Rapid Progress
Time or length of treatment is an important issue. A number of steps are taken to get a management program started as soon as possible. Steps are taken to schedule enough early conference time to identify the problem and take the initial steps toward problem resolution. Video conferences will vary in length and will be clustered as needed to make the process rapid and sensible for the family.
■ Parents become Skilled Behavior Managers
Early in treatment, parents are given assignments and take on an active role in the behavior change program. This approach shortens the overall length of treatment and speeds the family toward its goals. Over time, parents learn much of what they need to know to deal with problems that may emerge long after appointments at the Online Clinic have been completed.
